When you visit City View, it's our sincere hope that your experience will be meaningful, rewarding, and completely uncomplicated. Whether you attend with your family, with friends, or on your own, the questions below are designed to anticipate your time here and help you feel at ease.

What are worship services like?

Our worship services blend the vibrancy of contemporary styles with the familiarity of traditional worship through both instrumental and vocal music. Our team of musicians creates an an engaging and uplifting worship environment. The atmosphere is informal, friendly, and energetic.

What else happens on Sundays?

For children, there are Sunday school classes by grade level at 9 am. At 10:30 there is a children's worship service called The Wave for grades 1-5, along with separate worship-styled events for other ages. Our youth service, MVMNT, is for grades 6-12 and meets at 9 am in the Student Center. And we have 7 adult groups that meet at 9 am.

Where do my kids go?

Your first stop will be our check-in center, where you will pick up a sticker for your child. A worker will direct you to your child's class. Some locations vary between the 9 am and the 10:30 hours. Early childhood (children ages 2 1/2 - K) meet in the Family Life Center, and grade school kids (Kindergarten to grade 5) meet in the City View Kids building. Youth grades 6-12 meet in the Student Center, located at the east end of the campus. Buildings are clearly marked.

What about nursery care?

On Sundays the nursery is located close to the Worship Center so that parents can worship at ease with their younger children nearby. It is designed for children up to 30 months. Nursing mothers can view the service from our nursing mothers' room. As you enter the main lobby, turn left, and you'll find the nursery at the end of the lobby corridor. For your child's safety and your own piece of mind, security and cleanliness are our top priority.

Wednesdays nursery care is in the Family Life Center, downstairs, in Banana Bay.

What do I wear?

It's up to you.  It's San Diego, right? Whatever you wear, you'll fit right in.

Where do I park?

There is plenty of parking available at our 9 acre campus. Parking for handicapped and seniors is offered at the upper level lots located to the left (west) of the main church building.

Is the church easy to find?

That's a definite yes! We are located right off of the I-805 freeway, so it's easy to get here from anywhere in San Diego. When you exit at the Phyllis Place / Murray Ridge offramp, we are immediately to the west of the freeway.

Please join us! We hope you'll feel right at home!
